Cashel is a rustic community nestled away in north Connemara, comprising of 13 different townlands or villages, on the edge of the Gaeltacht area, where the mountains or at least the hills do quite literally sweep down to the sea.
The Wild Atlantic Way curls it's way past the two hotels, one pub, a church, a primary school and the community center as well as the numerous homes and fields scattered around Cashel.
